Academic integrity, backed by evidence
Winston AI shows teachers which sentences in a submission read as machine-written, and why. Review a whole class at once, share clear reports with students, and keep the conversation about the work.
Free for individual teachers. School plans add admin controls and SSO.

What changes when every flag comes with evidence
A percentage on its own can't settle a question about a student's work. Winston AI gives you something specific to point to, and a reason to hold back when the signal is weak.
“I can't accuse a student based on a number.”
Evidence you can walk through
Every submission comes back with the exact sentences that raised a flag, so a follow-up starts from the writing, not a score.
“What if it flags a student who wrote every word?”
Built to keep false flags rare
When the signal is unclear, Winston AI marks text as mixed instead of guessing. Our measured false positive rate is 0.6%.
“Checking 120 essays takes my whole weekend.”
A whole class in one pass
Pull an assignment from Google Classroom or your LMS and scan every submission at once. Sort by score to see which need a closer read.

Google Classroom and LMS
Scan assignments where they're submitted. Works with Canvas, Moodle, Schoology and Google Classroom.
Writing history
Compare a submission with a student's earlier work to spot a sudden shift in voice.
Plagiarism in the same scan
Check for copied passages and AI writing together, without switching tools.
Shareable reports
Send a read-only report to a student, parent or colleague. No account needed to view it.
Student privacy first
Submissions are never used to train our models, and teachers can delete any scan at any time.
Winston AI changed how I talk to students about AI. We read the highlighted paragraphs together, and most of the time the conversation ends up being about how they drafted, not whether they cheated.
Questions from educators
Something else on your mind? Visit the help center or ask our team.
Can I use a Winston AI score as proof that a student cheated?
No, and we'd advise against it. A score is a reason to look closer. Use the highlights alongside drafts, version history and a conversation with the student before drawing any conclusion.
Does it work with Google Classroom and our LMS?
Yes. Connect Google Classroom, Canvas, Moodle or Schoology to scan assignments where they're submitted. You can also upload files or paste text directly.
What happens to student submissions?
They're stored encrypted, visible only to your school's account and never used to train our models. Teachers and admins can delete scans at any time.
How does pricing work for schools?
Individual teachers can start free. Department and district plans include shared credits, admin controls and single sign-on. Contact sales for a quote.
